Take the attractive, versatile Poly-Kor door and add bigger vision panels, 42"(1067mm) bumpers and structural aluminum sub-frame…that’s the Poly-Kor XHD. The XHD model replaces the rubber sub-frame with a continuously welded aluminum structure. Even in wider openings up to 10'(3048mm), the door’s dimensional stability and durability are maintained. To ensure long, trouble-free service, a full height aluminum mount and steel spine transfer the load to a rugged, corrosion resistant cast Meehanite V-Cam hinge.

Metal or high impact colored ABS facings are bonded and riveted to the frame to prevent peeling, chipping or denting. The fastening system and facing materials are USDA approved for washdown applications. In addition, the Poly-Kor XHD includes 42"(1067mm) poly bumpers, full width vision panels, safety cushion nosing, and jamb guard/bottom bearings. Panels are custom fit to within 1/8"(3mm) of specified opening and may be ordered with a variety of options.

V-Cam gravity hinges are virtually indestructible. A cast Meehanite hinge with sealed bearings provides a 180° swing arc and ¾”(19mm) rise - extended swing and 1½” (38mm) rise is also available. Installation, including adjustments for out-of-square doorways, is fast and easy.
